James Tahaney
The Diocese of Brooklyn named Fr. James Tahaney in a list of clergy members who had credible accusations of sexual abuse against them. Ordained in June of 1963, Tahaney was assigned to the following posts before his death in November of 2004: St. Mary Mother of Jesus; St. Patrick; St. Andrew Apostle; St. Mary Star of the Sea; Immaculate Heart of Mary; and St. Agatha.
